Imani Blooms

Imani Blooms Garden, located on Detroit’s Eastside, is a small-scale diversified cut‑flower operation grounded in the brilliance and resilience of Black agricultural traditions.

 The garden is more than a place where flowers grow—it is a living, breathing space dedicated to cultivating creativity, community care and Black joy!

Imani Blooms is devoted to nurturing Black joy through vibrant bloom production, workshop offerings on ancestral botanical legacies, and creating opportunities for visitors to connect with Mother Earth in healing, grounding, and celebratory ways.

We cultivate a wide variety of blooms using practices that honor the Earth and uplift the ancestral knowledge passed down through  generations of Black growers, herbalists, and land stewards. Each flower we grow carries a story of joy, resistance, and resilience.
